RUNNING THE VZACCESS MANAGER SET-UP ASSISTANT
- Open VZAccess Manager.
- There may be an alias in the Dock or on the Desktop, click the VZAccess Manager icon. Or navigate to Finder > Applications > VZAccess Manager.
- If you have installed VZAccess Manager for the first time, the Setup Assistant will automatically load upon startup. Otherwise, you can go to Options > Run Setup Assistant at the top menu bar.

- Click Continue.

- Click Continue.

- In the "Select Hardware" screen, there are 3 options. Select the Detect WWAN device (mobile phone or PC Card) only option. Click Continue.

- The device will connect via Bluetooth, click Continue.

- Make sure NationalAccess - BroadbandAccess is checked only. Click Continue.
NOTE: While some devices support the Bluetooth Dial-up Networking profile, maximum download speeds will be limited to 460 kbps due to limitations with the Bluetooth transmissions speeds. Further, typical operating conditions and radio interference (including interference from WiFi networks, cordless telephones and microwaves) may significantly diminish speeds. BroadbandAccess speeds can be obtainable through the use of the tethered solution such as the USB cable.

- Enter in the handset's 10-digit phone number and click Continue.

You may be prompted to enter the laptop administrator's/owner's password to continue.

- Click Continue.

- Click Continue.

- Click Close.

- VZAM should load automatically. NationalAccess should show on the list with green bars to signal availability. Click to Connect WWAN to connect to the Internet.

- Click OK or Do Not Show Again if you understand and accept the message displayed.

- On the bottom left of the VZAccess Manager application, it will display "Connected" when you have successfully connected to the network. You can now click on the Web icon at the top or open your web browser to begin using the Internet.

NOTE: You can make calls/receive calls when the handset is connected to the Internet, but this will prevent you from browsing the Internet simultaneously. When your call has ended, you can continue to browse the Internet.
