Enhanced Voice Mail contains all of the features of Basic Voice Mail plus valuable extras including:
- Extended message lengths (5 minutes instead of 3)
- Extended retention periods (40 days instead of 21)
- Higher-capacity mailbox (40 messages instead of 20)
- Fax: Allows you to accept fax transmissions into your VM box and then send them to a fax machine of your choosing, to be printed.*
- Personal Operator: Allows you to forward calls to a second destination when you do not answer your phone. Whether you choose your assistant, backup number or home phone, just alert your callers to press 0 so they have another way to reach you.*
The cost is $4.95/month.

How to Get It
Contact Customer Service at (800) 922-0204 to add this feature to your account.
How to Use It
To access your voice mailbox:
- Press *VM (*86) and SEND.
- Follow the prompts to enter your password and retrieve your messages. If you hear your own or a system greeting when you dial *VM (*86), press # to interrupt it and follow the prompts to enter your password.
While listening to a message, press:
- 1 = Rewind
- 1-1 = Rewind to beginning of message
- 2 = Pause
- 3 = Fast Forward
- 3 - 3 = Fast Forward to end of message
- 4 = Slower
- 5 = Envelope Info (date/time message was sent)
- 6 = Faster
- 7 = Delete Message
- 9 = Save Message
- * = Cancel/Exit
- 0 = Help
- # = Finish/Skip
After listening to a message, press:
- 6 = Forward**
- 7 = Delete
- 8 = Reply**
- 9= Save
- 0 = Help
** Forward/Reply only works with other Verizon Wireless Voice Mail subscribers in your own area.
