    • You'll enjoy America's best, most reliable network.
    • You can change your calling plan at any time. As your needs change, you can change to any current calling plan. You won't pay any additional fees and you won't have to extend your contract.
    • If you ever have a problem, it becomes our problem the first time you call. No run-around, no hassles. If your issue can't be resolved during the course of your first call, we'll get back to you with an answer.
    • Your satisfaction is guaranteed with our Test Drive Program. Now you can Test Drive our network; make calls and even try out a cool new device. Every device you purchase from Verizon Wireless comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. And if you don't love us, take your number to someone else within 30 days. You won't have to pay an early termination fee, and we'll pay for any calls you've made.
    • You can get a free phone every two years with New Every Two®. Sign up for a calling plan of at least $34.99 and qualify for a free phone after two years, with a two-year renewal. Or choose to apply your New Every Two credit towards the purchase of a more expensive phone.

    You have the option to change any qualifying calling plan or airtime promotion at any time without extending your contract. You won't pay any additional fees to change to any qualifying calling plan or airtime promotion. Some calling plans require specific equipment.

  7. What does it take to get a new phone every two years?
    Sign up for and maintain two years of service on a digital plan of $34.99 or higher to qualify for a free phone up to $50 or $100 depending on the monthly access of your plan. Or you can apply your New Every Two credit toward the purchase of a more expensive phone. A 2-year renewal is required.

My Verizon and the My Verizon Advantage
  1. What is My Verizon?

    My Verizon is part of Verizon Wireless' ongoing commitment to delivering customer satisfaction. My Verizon is Verizon Wireless' online account management and customer service tool, providing customers with 24x7 online access to all their billing, payment and account-related information, so customers can manage their Verizon Wireless account relationship quickly and easily. My Verizon offers customers the ability to view and pay bills online, check account balances, change addresses, track airtime usage, analyze monthly spending trends or change account features.

    New and existing My Verizon customers can set up personalized alerts to notify them of specific account and billing activity. Once registered, customers will receive free TXT messages on their TXT Messaging-capable phones with Bill Ready, Payment Confirmation or Change Features and Address information.

  2. What is the My Verizon Advantage?

    Customers who register as the Account Owner in My Verizon get the added benefits of the My Verizon Advantage:

    • You’ll receive a waiver of the monthly subscription fee for Backup Assistant so you never have to worry about losing your phone’s contact list. Backup Assistant will let you automatically retain a copy of your saved phone numbers to a secure website, so they’re available if you lose or upgrade your phone. All lines on your account receive this waiver when the Account Owner is registered.
    • You can get a new phone every year with Annual Upgrade. Sign up for a 2-year agreement on a calling plan of at least $49.99 and you can purchase a new phone at its promotional price through My Verizon every year with a 2-year renewal (upgrade fee may apply).
    • If you're using more minutes than your calling plan includes, we’ll let you know with Minute Check. Minute Check will periodically notify you through My Verizon if you are exceeding your plan allowance and let you know of other calling plan options that may save you money.

Backup AssistantSM
  1. What is Backup Assistant?
    Backup Assistant safeguards your mobile phone's address book and automatically saves a copy of the names, phone numbers, and email addresses stored in your phone. You can also view, print, add, delete and edit your contacts online. If you lose, damage, or upgrade your phone, Backup Assistant will restore your contact list to a new or replacement phone.

  2. Are all phones eligible to have Backup Assistant?
    Backup Assitant requires the phone to be Get it Now and Backup Assistant capable. Check Tools & Applications to confirm of your phone is Get it Now and Backup Assistant capable.

  3. How do I sign up for Backup Assistant?

    Backup Assistant is a service that is available via the Backup Assistant application. Using your cell phone, you can register through Get It Now. You will be asked to accept a $1.99 monthly subscription fee. That monthly fee will be waived, and you will not see a charge for this service on your bill, as long as the Account Owner remains a My Verizon member. When downloading Backup Assistant, usage charges apply (airtime or data, depending on your plan). Standard Text Messaging rates apply when you initiate contacts synchronization from the Backup Assistant website.

  4. If I am currently a My Verizon customer and already have Backup Assistant do I need to call to get the monthly subscription fee waived?
    No, our systems have been updated to remove the monthly charge if the Account Owner is already enrolled in My Verizon. All lines on the account that subscribe to Backup Assistant will have the fee waived and you will no longer see the subscription charge on your monthly statement.

  1. What do I have to do to get a new phone with Annual Upgrade?
    You must be registered for My Verizon, be on a calling plan of $49.99 or higher and have completed at least 1 year of a 2-year contract and agree to renew for an additional 2 years in order to get a new phone at a promotional price. It’s as easy as that.

  2. Is this replacing New Every Two?
    No. Verizon Wireless is providing an additional program to upgrade your phone. By taking advantage of the Annual Upgrade, however, your New Every Two calendar will restart.

Minute Check Alerts
  1. What is a Minute Check alert?
    If you’re using more minutes than your calling plan includes, we’ll let you know with a Minute Check alert.

  2. How often will I receive Minute Check alerts?
    Your voice overage charges will be reviewed at least four times a year to determine if you are using more minutes than your calling plan includes. Once you receive a Minute Check Alert it will stay on your My Verizon Overview page for up to 30 days, or until you click on the informational icon.
