  5. What can I do to block access to music labeled "EXPLICIT"?
There are currently two ways to block, or filter “EXPLICIT” labeled content from being either previewed or purchased.

    1. You can add an “Music Block” to the particular line that you want to restrict. This will prevent access to the V CAST Music catalog from the handset and the PC. Account holders with multiple lines associated with their accounts (e.g. on a FamilyShare plan) may choose to block all lines or only specified lines on their accounts. Once added, the block may be removed only at the request of the account holder.
    2. You can activate content filtering to limit the type of content that you want to have available. This feature will allow the preview and/ or purchase of content, while filtering out “EXPLICIT” labeled content. Any “Explicit” content displayed will be viewable only in a “grayed” out presentation, if the filter is activated. To activate content filtering please call customer care at (800) 922-0204, or *611 from your mobile phone.

To activate a V CAST Music filter, you may go to My Verizon online account management, you may call Customer Care at (800) 922-0204, or *611 from your mobile phone. Additionally, you may visit any one of our retail stores to have the feature added.

If, with the same $10.00 account balance, you purchased a V CAST song for $2.98 (99¢ download fee + $1.99 for the song), your new balance would be $7.02.
