In order to prevent inadvertent dialing of 911, you must follow two steps to dial using the 911 key:

    1. You must push and hold the 911 key for two seconds.
    2. You can then either press the Left Soft Key corresponding to the "Yes" response OR push the Send key.

Good Housekeeping Seal & Warranty
  1. What is the Good Housekeeping Seal Warranty?
The Coupe handset has received the Good Housekeeping Seal.  The Good Housekeeping Seal is valid through September 30, 2008.  Good Housekeeping provides two years of coverage for any product that receives the seal - in this case the Coupe handset. The Seal warranty applies to any Coupe handset sold until September 30, 2008. The ranty protection is provided for two years after date of purchase for any Coupe handset (e.g. a Coupe handset purchased August 15, 2008 would have Good Housekeeping’s warranty protection until August 14, 2010).The warranty provides for replacement or refund of the product if defective.

Note: In most cases that meet the conditions of the Good Housekeeping warranty, you will receive a refund for the purchase price, however, final judgements rests with Good Housekeeping.

  3. If I have a problem with my Coupe handset, should I send it to Good Housekeeping?

We recommend handling any product issues first directly with Verizon Wireless. If your phone experiences a manufacturing defect during the first year, Verizon Wireless will provide a replacement handset. If your phone experiences a manufacturing defect during the second year, Verizon Wireless will provide a replacement handset, which may be a refurbished unit, for a $50 fee. Alternatively, during the first two years of ownership you can take advantage of the Good Housekeeping Seal warranty, through which Good Housekeeping will either replace the handset or give you a refund.

Note: If you subscribed to Total Equipment Coverage or Extended Warranty when you purchased your Coupe handset, the Verizon Wireless $50 replacement fee does not apply, and you can make a claim beyond two years from the date of purchase.
