Description

VZ Navigator provides all the features of an advanced navigation system on your mobile phone at a fraction of the price of other Global Positioning Services (GPS) devices and systems. VZ Navigator provides: heads-up, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions (with auto-rerouting if you miss a turn); local search of nearly fourteen million points of interest (POIs) in the U.S.A.; and detailed color maps that can be quickly panned and zoomed. With VZ Navigator you will know where you are, know what's around you, and know how to get there.

How to Get It

To use the service, you'll need a VZ Navigator enabled phone, which can be purchased online.

Once you have the phone, follow these steps to download the VZ Navigator application:

  1. Go to the Get it Now® Shop on your phone.
  2. Find VZ Navigator in the Get Going section under "Travel & Guides" or "Featured Apps."
  3. Download VZ Navigator.

VZ Navigator can be used on several handsets. Check VerizonWireless for an updated list of phones that are supported by the latest version of VZ Navigator.

How do I upgrade to the latest version of VZ Navigator?
While viewing the main screen of the application, select Options (or Menu for BlackBerry users), then select Check for Updates. If a newer version is available for your handset, the application will commence updating. Otherwise, VZ Navigator will simply confirm that your version is up to date.

VZ Navigator will work anywhere within the Verizon Wireless National Enhanced Services Coverage Area.

How do I log-on to VZNavigator.com?
For Verizon Wireless customers who already have a Get It Now website password, the same password may be used to log-in to VZ Navigator. Verizon Wireless customers who do not have a password, they may sign-up on VZ Navigator by clicking on the Sign-up button.
