Mobile Web

Description

With Mobile Web you're just clicks away from everything you want to know about your world, but don't have time to ask. Read the latest world news or local weather. Get updates of the stock market or opening day at the stadium of your favorite team. Access your Verizon.net, MSN®, Hotmail®, Yahoo!®, and America Online® accounts to exchange email easily. The service is offered for an additional monthly access charge, plus usage and other applicable charges. Customers on Nationwide plans are not billed access charges, but will be charged $1.99 for each MB accessed.

How to Get It

  1. Launch your phone's web browser by pressing the up arrow on the 4-way navigation button on your phone or by selecting Mobile Web / Browser from your phone's menu. 
  2. If you are on a Nationwide plan, you are already provisioned for Mobile Web.
    If you are on an America's Choice plan, select a subscription price and accept Ts&Cs to provision for Mobile Web.

How to Use It

  1. When you launch your browser, you will land on the Mobile Web homepage.
  2. Use the 4-way navigational button (or use the side up/down buttons on older devices) on the keypad to move your browser cursor between link options and then press the center OK key (or press the OK option by using the buttons near the phone's screen on older devices)
    -OR-
    Use your phone's numeric keypad to select links.
  3. Press the Clr key to go back to the previous page. 
  4. Press End to end your session.
  5. Use the Menu option to go Home or restart your browser.

Yes, as long as you are in a Verizon Wireless digital area, you will be able to use Mobile Web.

Yes, as long as you continue to have a Mobile Web capable handset and subscribe to Mobile Web.

Can I create Favorites/ Bookmarks?
Yes, you can bookmark your favorite mobile websites, from either your phone or from the Personalize site on the Mobile Web companion site. Folders can be created for more organized storage.

How can I search for additional Internet sites?
You can perform a Search by clicking the Search button on the portal (Option 0) or via your device browser right soft key. If you know the URL of an website, you can also enter it into the "Go to URL" feature.

Where do I go to search for additional Internet sites?

There are two ways to access Search.

  1. You can Search from the Mobile Web Home Page portal Option “0” or by using the browser right soft key on your device.
    -OR-
  2. If you enter a keyword in the search box and then click the Search button, you will be presented with a series of Search results. Mobile sites will be presented at the top and HTML sites will be presented under Top Web Results.
