Dashboard

Description

Dashboard is a flash-based, graphically rich gateway to Verizon Wireless’ data products and services. It serves as a launch pad for a faster and more comprehensive way to access all of VZW data services.

How to Get It

Launch Dashboard by pressing up arrow on the 4-way navigational button or go to the phone's menu and select News & Info.

How to Use It

  1. When you launch Dashboard, you will land on the Dashboard channel line-up.
  2. Use the 4-way navigational button (up/down buttons) on the keypad to move the carrousel from one channel to the other.
  3. Press the center OK.
  4. Press the Clr key to go back to the previous page.
  5. Press End to end your session.

Do I have to pay for using Dashboard?
You will be charged for data usage in accordance with your Plan.

When Dashboard content is updated?
  • When the Dashboard is launched - if you press the up navigation key and waits for approximately 10 seconds the Dashboard will look for fresh content and initiates a data connection. 
  • Manual content refresh - If you desire to see fresh content and press “Options” and then select “Fresh Channel Content”; the Dashboard will look for fresh content therefore a data session is initiated

Am I always connected?
No. Dashboard will only update content when it is launched or  when “Refresh Channel Content” from the “Options” menu is selected.

If I replace my device, do I lose my channel configuration?
No. Dashboard keeps the record and displays the channels that you subscribed to through your previous device.
